G.723.1A Example Application for 5685x

Overview

The G.723.1A Demo demonstrates use of the G.723.1A library provided by the Processor Expert.

In this demo, audio is input from a PC to the G.723.1A Speech Codec (encoder and decoder) algorithm and

the decoded output is played by the G.723.1A Speech Codec on a speaker system.

How to get this software

This example application is included as part of the CodeWarrior Development Studio for 56800/E Digital

Signal Controllers. Follow these steps:

1.

Install CodeWarrior Development Studio for 56800/E Digital Signal Controllers

2.

Launch CodeWarrior, and create new Processor Expert project

a.

Select File > New menu

b.

Select Processor Expert Examples Stationery

c.

Type project name

d.

Click OK

e.

Select DemoApplications > Telephony > G723 > 56858

f.

Click OK

3.

Generate application code by selecting Processor Expert > Generate Code menu
